Skinner’s average starting position is 3.7 and his average finishing position is 5.5. CHASSIS CHOICE: This weekend, crew chief Eric Phillips and the No. 5 team will unload Randy Moss Motorsports chassis MDM-101. This will be the first time that this Toyota Tundra has seen the racetrack this season with Mike Skinner behind the wheel.

CLOSING IN ON NUMBER ONE: Skinner, the 1995 Truck Series Champion, currently sits second in the NCWTS championship point standings, only 27 points behind leader Ron Hornaday Jr. Skinner has led the point standings once this year, after his win at Kansas Speedway.

SEASON IN REVIEW: Through the first seven races of the 2009 NCWTS season, Skinner and his No. 5 Randy Moss Motorsports team have accumulated one win at Kansas Speedway in April, three top-five finishes, along with five top-10 finishes. The team has only one DNF (Did Not Finish), as a result of their wild crash during the race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

AUTOGRAPH SESSION: Skinner and his Randy Moss Motorsports teammate Tayler Malsam will join other NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers to sign autographs on Friday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. CT in the TM Interactive area.

CATCH THE ACTION: The WinStar World Casino 400 from Texas Motor Speedway will take the green flag this Friday, June 5th at 9 P.M. Eastern. SKINNER (On racing at Texas Motor Speedway): “We have a huge fan base in Texas and we’ve had an endorsement partnership with Justin Boots since 1995, so we have history with great companies in this area. The racetrack is really been good to me at times and it has been bad to me at times, but it is definitely on my top-five list of favorite racetracks that we go to. We generally run good at Texas. I love being here; I’m already here, as we came straight from Dover and so Angie (Skinner, wife) and I are spending the week here.”

SKINNER (On what it would mean to win at Texas): “I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but to win any one of these races at any track is special, but to win at Texas would be a little more special. It would be like winning at Daytona. I have a Bristol win and that is such a prestigious race to win, so I would love to add a win at Texas.”
