No. 5 EXIDE/International Truck/Monaco RVs Toyota Tundra News and Notes
·         This Week’s Tundra… Skinner will be behind the wheel of RMM-108 at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.  This particular chassis was last raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway where the No. 5 EXIDE/International Truck/Monaco RVs team drove to a 24th-place finish after being caught up in an accident with a truck that was capable of competing inside the top-five.  Skinner also utilized this Toyota Tundra earlier this season when he finished in the fourth position.
·          Skinner Starts Up Front... The driver of the No. 5 Exide/International Truck/Monaco RVs Toyota Tundra has five poles at Texas Motor Speedway, and is the only active NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitive to have won multiple poles at the grueling speedway.
·        Proven Competitor at TMS...  Throughout the race, you can often find Skinner leading the pack.  The veteran driver has led 458 laps around Texas Motor Speedway, ranking him second on the all-time lap leaders list in NCWTS competition.  Despite still searching for his first trip to victory lane at TMS, Skinner is known for finishing at the front of the pack; he holds the record for the highest average finish of all active drivers in the NCWTS at 5.9.
·        Watch and Listen…  The WinStar World Casino 350K will be broadcast live on SPEED, MRN Radio and Sirius XM Channel 128 beginning at 8:30 PM EST on Friday, November 5.  Two practice sessions and qualifying will take place on Thursday, but will not be televised.

Mike Skinner on driving at Texas Motor Speedway
“Texas is an extremely challenging track.  I’ve always run well there, but haven’t been able to make it to victory lane yet.  We recorded our best finish of the season there in June with the EXIDE/International Truck/Monaco RVs Toyota Tundra team, and we hope to improve on that this weekend.  Over the last few races, all of our trucks have been extremely competitive—we’ve been able to lead laps and run up front and I’m sure this weekend will not be any different.  I think we have the truck exactly where I need it to run a solid race on Friday night, and if we can get a little luck on our side I think you’ll see us racing for the win.”

Crew Chief Stacy Johnson on racing at Texas Motor Speedway
“The EXIDE/International Truck/Monaco RVs team is ready to race at Texas Motor Speedway.  We were extremely competitive there earlier this season and we’re looking forward to having the opportunity to improve that finish.  We’ve done a lot of work on our Toyota Tundra and have done a few different things to test our setup.  With Mike’s skill-level and driving record at Texas [Motor Speedway], we hope to have a great race this weekend.”
