STATESVILLE, N.C. (January 18, 2011) – After many discussions and much thought, Randy Moss Motorsports and Mike Skinner have decided to part ways for the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. The duo joined forces just weeks before the 2009 opener at Daytona International Speedway to enjoy a ‘Cinderella’ story of a season. Together, the team achieved three wins, three pole positions and finished third in the championship standings.
“I would like to thank Mike Skinner for a lot of great races and two competitive seasons in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” commented David Dollar, co-owner of Randy Moss Motorsports. “We were able to learn a lot with a veteran of Mike’s caliber behind the wheel and enjoyed a lot of success throughout our time together.”
Randy Moss Motorsports will compete as a two-truck team throughout the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series campaign. Watch for announcements regarding the team’s driver, sponsor and personnel lineup during the upcoming weeks.
